Is registration really free? +

Yes. Creating your society, the guided onboarding, and the Community plan (up to 30 units) are free forever — no credit card. Larger societies get Pro free for 60 days, then choose a plan.

Who pays — the society or residents? +

Only the society, from its regular maintenance budget. Residents never pay anything to use SocietyHub, and they never see advertisements.

We follow Maharashtra bye-laws. Will the billing match? +

Yes — the Maharashtra pack seeds service charges (equal per flat), repair fund (0.75% p.a. of construction cost), sinking fund (0.25%), water by inlets, and enforces the 10% non-occupancy cap, 21% simple-interest cap and ₹25,000 transfer premium cap. Ten states have packs; everything stays editable to match your registered bye-laws.

Our maintenance formula is unusual. Can it be modelled? +

Almost certainly. Beyond 9 standard bases, the Calculation Studio lets you write formulas using areas, construction cost, UDI, parking, occupancy flags and your own per-unit variables — with a live preview across all units before anything is billed.

Can residents rent out their own parking? +

Yes — owners of sale-deed or allotment-letter slots can list them at their own hourly, daily, weekly or monthly price. Neighbours request, the owner approves, and the society keeps a transparent registry. Sale-deed slots are never billed by the society.

What happens to our data if we leave? +

It's yours. Committee admins can export records, and we'll provide a full database export on request — no lock-in, no "talk to sales" hostage moment.

Do you support societies outside the 10 pack states? +

Yes — a sensible generic pack applies, and every compliance parameter is configurable. New state packs are added regularly.
